My name is Rebecca and I’m a runner. I’ve been running for most of my life, I started when I was 10 years old and my mom wanted to sign me up for a sport. She had a friend at work with a daughter my age and figured that I could run track because then she’d have someone for me to carpool with and so she signed me up. And, lucky me, she picked the right sport – I’ve been running ever since. I ran cross country and track in high school and college at RPI. After graduation I spend a few years running with Team Utopia in Albany NY where I got roped in to running the marathon. I moved to Brooklyn in September of 2008 where after a few months, I joined the Prospect Park Track Club who I’ve been running with ever since. I started this blog to help keep me motivated and get feedback on my training.
